A family friend of mine woke up in the middle of the night.
She was experiencing an anxiety attack because there was notice of layoffs at her office. She was scared that she would be one of the unfortunate ones to join the growing number of unemployment.

In turn, she went to church that day during her lunch break. She prayed that her job would be secured. She prayed for a blessing (for once in her life). On her way back to work, she continued her prayers. Asking for God to speak to her in some way. Asking for a sign.

She was answered. A middle-aged man (apparently good looking, pause on that) stopped her and said, "do you believe in love at first sight?" She replied with a "whaaat?"
He repeated "DO you believe in love at first sight?" As she looked with confusion she replied "No...not re-" He intereupted and said "Because GOD loves you!"

Amazed and pleasantly surprised, she carried a conversation with this man. A man who was once a Christian monk, he gave this girl some Jesus'esque wisdom. He said:
My child, do not worry about your job. You'll be fine. Just like the plants. The plants do not complain during the winter. Although they are very much dead, they live on. This is because they know that the Spring and Summer will bless them with a beautiful life.

After this awkward conversation, the two went their seperate ways. But exchanged business cards. The man introduced himself, "I am William Divine. I had my name changed because I wanted to be truly divine." The girl said her goodbyes and thanks for the words of advice and quicky called her boyfriend. She told her bf about this odd man. The bf replied "omg, i just googled him. He's a multimillionaire! hahaha!"

She sighed with relief, knowing that all will be well...
